Shoe care
- Don't use new footwear more than 2 - 3 hours daily. When the feet and the footwear are used to each other, you can wear the shoes all the day.
- Don't use the same pair of shoes two days successively. Let the shoes rest 24 hours between use.
- Whether you use shoes or boots - always use shoehorn.
- Always remember to untie shoelaces before taking off your shoes, thus the feet leaves the shoes without force.
- Immediately after taking off shoes place shoe trees in them.
- Even if the shoes are wet with water or snow, place the shoe trees and let the shoes dry at least 24 hours in a side position.
- It is highly recommended to clean and polish shoes even if it seems as they don't have lost their gloss.
- Apply a thin layer of shoe polish to the shoes if they aren't in use for a while and store them in the shoe box with their soles downwards.
- Do not lend your shoes to someone else - specially not hand crafted shoes - everyone's feet vary in their shape.
- Polish your shoes on a regular basis - at least once a week.
