Shoe care

  1. Don't use new footwear more than 2 - 3 hours daily. When the feet and the footwear are used to each other, you can wear the shoes all the day.
  2. Don't use the same pair of shoes two days successively. Let the shoes rest 24 hours between use.
  3. Whether you use shoes or boots - always use shoehorn.
  4. Always remember to untie shoelaces before taking off your shoes, thus the feet leaves the shoes without force.
  5. Immediately after taking off shoes place shoe trees in them.
  6. Even if the shoes are wet with water or snow, place the shoe trees and let the shoes dry at least 24 hours in a side position.
  7. It is highly recommended to clean and polish shoes even if it seems as they don't have lost their gloss.
  8. Apply a thin layer of shoe polish to the shoes if they aren't in use for a while and store them in the shoe box with their soles downwards.
  9. Do not lend your shoes to someone else - specially not hand crafted shoes - everyone's feet vary in their shape.
  10. Polish your shoes on a regular basis - at least once a week.
